Mrs. Melissa Matteucci, representing IWA KEP, a Swiss NGO dedicated to empowering women in Cambodia.
Operating from a quaint coastal town in southern Cambodia, Mrs. Matteucci embarked on a mission to combat the prevalent plastic pollution plaguing the country.
In pursuit of her vision, she established the association Iwa Kep, offering unemployed women the opportunity to transform recycled waste into artisanal creations.
Thanks to our generous donation to the Association IWA KEP, 100 children from Namiko Phnom Sia Primary School in Kep will each receive a backpack from IWA Kep.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to RC Morges for their generous support, contributing CHF 2,500 towards this initiative. The donation was presented during a conference on January 17, 2023, attended by Mrs. Matteucci, the founder, and President of IWA KEP.
